ABOUT SEANNE:

As a certified Life-Cycle Celebrant ®, I have been trained by the Celebrant Foundation and Institute in the art of creating personalized ceremonies. My liberal arts education, including music, speech and drama, brings creativity to my work. My sense of humor helps keep things light! My education, experience and expertise as a licensed marriage and family therapist as well as my life long study of spirituality bring a sensitivity and wisdom to my work, meeting people where they are. I bring no personal agenda to the table. It is YOUR ceremony. As your Celebrant, I will be there every step of the way to assure your Ceremony is seamless, worry free and beautiful. While you have complete control, don’t worry because I will do most the work! The goal is for you to enjoy each moment. I promise your ceremony will be something you, your family and your friends will remember forever.

As founder and owner of Family Resources of Greater Nebraska, P.C., the largest counseling and health coaching practice in Central Nebraska, I have had the pleasure of working with hundreds of couples, individuals and families. My signature strength includes facilitating and creating safe, welcoming environments bringing out the best in others. I love my work as a marriage and family therapist and added the Celebrant work as a natural extension of being present with people through those meaningful moments in their life’s passages. It is highly satisfying for me to create meaningful ritual and ceremony to help mark those once-in-a-lifetime events. I strongly believe in the power of good ceremony. It helps deepen life’s experiences and contributes to strengthening relationships.

My ceremonies are inclusive of gender, race, and background. I can legally officiate weddings but for those who do not require the legal formalities for their special union, I also create and perform hand fasting ceremonies, commitment ceremonies and renewal of vows.
